Okay… hold on to your hats… this may be the shortest NASCAR Fan’s View ever. Because of a very busy schedule this week, I just haven’t had time to do the usual full NASCAR fan’s view I’ve been doing every racing week for several years now. My apologies but I just had to say something and here it is…
Judging from the possibility of tire problems plaguing some, many or all of the Cup teams this afternoon at Fontana, it is this fan’s opinion that Jeff Gordon is going to win this Auto Club 400.
Do I think he will win simply because there might be tire issues?? No, not at all… It has been this fan’s opinion he was going to win since they unloaded the cars from the trucks and hit the track for the practice and qualifying sessions.
If he doesn’t win, it won’t be the end of my world and I really won’t lose any sleep over it, but, if he does… well… let’s just say, I told you so…
See ya next time…
